The work of volunteers is central to everything we do and allows us to continue our life-saving work in the world’s poorest countries. Learn about the various ways you can help as a volunteer in Ireland.
Debate adjudicators
The Concern Debates would not happen without our amazing team of volunteers across the country.
Among our family of volunteers are the adjudicators. There is one adjudicator per debate. The debates are all online for the beginning of the 2022/23 year. The debates will be in person from March - May 2023. Adjudicators mark students according to the Concern Debates marking sheet and will receive training on how to do so.
We are currently recruiting for Debates Volunteers. Please email [email protected] for more info or sign up here.
Volunteer at collections
We require collectors to assist our street and church gate collections. The collections are held nationwide at different times throughout the year and usually involve just a few hours once or twice each year. If you think you have the time to spare, please register your interest for further information.
Fundraising volunteers
Interested in creating your own fundraiser? Every year hundreds of volunteers hold table quizzes, run marathons, climb mountains or host coffee mornings to fund our work overseas. The support is invaluable to us and we’re happy to support your fundraising efforts in whatever way we can.
Get involved
If you are interested in helping in any of the above ways, please get in touch. We would be thrilled to have you on our team.
